Arctic Tundra

The Arctic Tundra is often referred to as "the treeless plain." Its mostly just little shrubbery. Grass and permafrost which is permanently frozen ground. This area is in the dark for around six months because the sun does not rise. If you travel around that time do not be surprised to experience -30°F in winter so you will want to pack a lot of warm clothes so break out those knitted tube socks. To experience these kinds of conditions you will be traveling up to the Northern Hemisphere. can travel to upper areas of Europe such as Lapland or Scandinavia, Siberia in Asia, and Alaska or Canada in North America.
